Environment Questions

  • Our natural outdoor playground invites safe and supervised risk taking.

Our classrooms are thriving play and learning spaces that are safe, clearly defined for specific developmental functions, aesthetically pleasing, and brightly lit with natural light and bay windows that invite the outdoor views inside. The seamless indoor and outdoor visibility adds an element of safety because we know where the children are at all times.

Our resources are carefully chosen to present diverse open-ended possibilities to the children to encourage divergent thinking skills, transferable life-skills and independent exploration.

Our environment enables young children to take their very first steps out of the home and into their first educational environment with trust. Families appreciate that we are a small and cozy setting where we look out for the care, safety and security of our children as priority.

  • We have a learning framework designed for young learners to engage in sustainable practices daily and grow their environmental literacy knowledge while feeling motivated to embrace an ecologically conscious way of living.

  • Yes! In recent years, we are being reminded of how important it is to include Mindfulness into our curriculum to help young children (and our teachers!) manage their emotional states and body awareness in order to thrive in their relationships with others as well as fully engage in their learning experiences. We find this a highly relevant life skill from childhood to adulthood.

Families & teaching team

  • Our families come from all over the world! North, South and Central America, Europe, United Kingdom, Russia, Australia, different parts of Asia, Indonesia and Bali.

  • We are a team of experienced professionals in Early Childhood Education.
Our team members at The Anak Atelier are considered family and thus become family to our children too.
